Collum brings to the table over 25 years of sales and marketing experience. He has traveled the U.S. educating and enlightening business owners and corporate executives on subjects such as: “Speaking Positive About Competitors and Still Get the Sale” and “Time to Get a Checkup from the Neck up” to name a few. The majority of his speeches were centered around positive mental attitude building.
Contrary to the advice of others about getting into the real estate business at the worst time in recent memory (2008) he continued on. Over the last 3 years he has listed millions of dollars of land, typically the big “elephant” type properties. He learned what to do and most importantly what NOT to do during the course of the last 3 years under the teachings of his other brokers.
The diverse background as well as experience Gregg and his team bring to the table are invaluable to those we work with.
Gregg conducts landowner seminars dealing with wildlife management for tax valuation across Texas. He comes into contact with hundreds and hundreds of landowners per year. In addition, he teaches a course for mandatory continuing education credit to many Texas REALTORS®, Brokers and sales associates. His contact base is substantial approximately 10,000 landowners and business owners (all of whom buy and sell). He does not believe in “pitching” the big investors EVERY real estate opportunity that comes his way. He is very selective about the opportunities he offers his base.
In April 2011, Collum was asked to to be one of the keynote speakers at the 21st Annual Outlook for Texas Land Markets Conference held in San Antonio Texas. The conference was put on by the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University. He is considered an expert in his field of property valuation and taxation as it deals with agriculture and wildlife management.
